Double Knee Replacements
Mr. Cooper an 81 year old man had been suffering from knee pain for over 10 years. He had been advised knee replacement during consultation with various doctors, but had always been scared to take the plunge. "What if I stop walking completely? Is the operation very painful"?
It was only when he found walking virtually impossible that he decided to go ahead with surgery for both knees. A good friend of his had been operated by Dr. Soonawalla and recommended him. In five days he was back home. This is because he had the surgery done by the minimally invasive approach with a cut of only 9 cm. In two weeks he was walking independently and was bending his knee fully.
